How is Equicore different from the sites I’m already used to using?
Equicore is the first platform designed for the equine industry. It combines records from multiple sources under one record per horse. We have proprietary merging algorithms that allow us to analyze data from multiple databases that a horse may have acquired during its life, including but not limited to identification data, breeding data, and competition data. We ONLY display data from verified sources and we view data quality as our primary goal.

Can I register my horse with Equicore?
Equicore does not register horses. We are a big data platform that only includes data from verified sources such as breed registries, competition federations, or other companies / agencies with verified data.
Why can’t I find my horse in your system?
It is our mission to empower every individual involved in the equine industry through clean, accurate and complete data. Of course, this is a big project! With over 1.6 million horses in our database we are well on our way but there is still a long way to go. We are constantly adding new sources and new horse records to our database but if you can’t find a horse you’re looking for we likely haven’t included a source with their data to our records…. Yet.
